Bohua Academy of Chinese Musical Arts 

 

            

    

The Bohua Academy of Chinese Musical Arts is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit cultural and educational organization. Its mission is to be the steward of Chinese classical musical arts and pass them down to future generations. It carries forward the spirit of Chinese traditional music, and introduces the world to the charm of Chinese music and culture. The Bohua Academy has been actively serving the San Diego community with broad recognition for its unique role and contribution.  The Bohua Academy participated in the Hong Kong International Music Festival in 2017 and won the first place in Chinese Orchestra Open Division in the North American District and the second place in the Hong Kong Finals. Several members of the Bohua Academy also won in individual competitions such as the Jinghu, Erhu, Pipa and Guzheng.   

 

博华民族乐团是美国国家税务局正式批准的501(c)(3)非盈利文化教育组织。博华乐团的宗旨是传承中华古典艺术瑰宝，弘扬华夏传统音乐精神，传播民族器乐文化，向世界展现中国文化艺术的魅力。十几年来，博华乐团一直坚持服务社区、服务大众的原则，参加了上百长场各种形式的艺术演出和慈善活动，对整个社区的贡献有目共睹。博华乐团2017年参加了香港国际音乐节，荣获北美地区民乐团公开组第一名和香港总决赛的第二名，乐团的多名团员也在京胡、二胡、琵琶及古筝等个人比赛中取得了优异成绩。
